Irene Shirley Kondo, 81, of Hilo died March 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired seamstress and member of the Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church in Keauakaha. Friends may call 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; funeral at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Julieta Cuison Villaruel, 80, of Honolulu died Feb. 16 at home. Born in Hawi, she was a homemaker. Ida Mae Wong, 95, of Hilo died Feb. 19 at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Honokaa, she was a retired department manager for the former Robins, member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and Kaumana Terrace Kumiai. Private services. No flowers; no koden. Survived by sons, Ronald (Mildred) Wong of Aiea, Rodney (Pat) Wong of Hilo; daughter, Rochelle (Roy) Dela Cruz of Seattle; sister, Gladys Wong of Hilo; sister-in-law, Agnes Kim of San Diego; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
